Core
Value One: Intentional
This core value is symbolized by the branches of the
tree. The branches are the most visible part of the tree. They are the part
of the tree that make it a beautiful part of God’s creation. We believe
that the Christian life must not stop with relationships and experience
of God. We have an obligation to share God’s love with others. We
believe that the Christian should live with a sense of intentionality and
purpose.
To fulfill the relational core value we exert the “Branching Out”
concept. Members are trained and continually reminded that we are to intentionally
branch out into our community. The beauty of the tree, and likewise the
Christian community, hinges on the length and fullness of the branches.

Value Two: Experiential
This core value is symbolized by the trunk of the tree.
The Christian life is not just an assent to a set of beliefs. It is more
than a compilation of doctrines and truths. The Christian life is to be
experiential. God has created humans with a natural yearning and desire
for relation with Him.
To fulfill the relational core value we offer “Vibrant Worship”
which meets every Sunday morning at 10:00am. The trunk of a tree is the
most powerful part. It is where all of the roots converge together and spring
forth out of the ground. Likewise, we believe that the weekly worship experience
is the most powerful part of the week. God is to be experienced, not just
alone, but with others. There is great power when believers come together
and experientially worship God. |

Value Three: Relational
This core
value is symbolized by the roots of the tree. We believe that a relationship
with God, as well as with other believers is a necessary part of the Christian
life. The roots of a tree provide the important nutrients to keep the tree
alive and growing. Similarly, our relationship with God and other believers
are essential to our growth and well being. The roots are underground and
are unseen, but they are crucial. Without roots a tree will die. Without
relationships, including with other believers, the Christian will not live
the life that God desires.
To fulfill the relational core value we offer “Root Groups”
which meet weekly in homes (detailed maps are available on Sunday mornings).
These groups are an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with
other believers, and most importantly a deeper relationship with God.
